Colorado produces talented college football recruits every year and the Class of 2016 is no different with high school athletes from all across the state going on to play college football all over the country next season.
Some notable football players from Colorado who thrived at the college level and made it to the NFL include Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson, former Tennessee Titans and USC Trojans running back LenDale White, and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Hasselbeck.
Some top Class of 2016 recruits from Colorado include Pine Creek (Colorado Springs) linebacker JoJo Domann (Nebraska), Fairview (Boulder) defensive end Carlo Kemp (Michigan), Regis Jesuit (Aurora) tight end Jack Stoll (Nebraska), Legacy (Broomfield) quarterback Matt Lynch (UCLA), Legend (Parker) offensive lineman Hunter Vaughn (Colorado) and Valor Christian (Highland Ranch) offensive lineman Dillon Reinkensmeyer (Virginia).
However, there are many top recruits in this area that are still weighing all their options before making one of the biggest decisions of their lives. These athletes are being looked at by college teams every day and have two weeks before National Signing Day on Feb. 3 to pick their college of choice.
