Shreveport and Bossier City, located in the northwest corner of Louisiana, has a reputation for providing colleges all over the country with a constant stream of high school football stars. One of the most well-known players to ever come out of Shreveport is NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw who attended Woodlawn High School. Another quarterback who recently came out of the area and is making a name for himself in the NFL is former Haughton Buccaneer and current Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott.

Some current college players to come out of Shreveport and Bossier communities includes LSU quarterback Brandon Harris and Louisiana Tech wide receiver Trent Taylor.

On National Signing Day, the Class of 2017 took the first step of their journey of making a name for themselves at the collegiate level by signing on the dotted line in ceremonies throughout the area and achieving their dream of playing college football.
