Arizona JUCO LB Patrick Macon Commits to Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State has been on the move since Nov. 16 picking up six verbal commitments. The latest added to the 2017 class is ready-to-play junior college linebacker Patrick Macon.
Macon had a breakout sophomore season with Arizona Western racking up 122 total tackles with nine sacks, and 27.5 tackles for a loss in 2016. Despite the big play on the field, the 6-3, 235 pound, play-maker was widely under the radar with reported offers from San Diego State and Arizona.
The Millington (TN) high school product posted his commitment on Twitter with a statement reading:
After a busy summer on the recruiting trail, all had been quiet for OSU since Aug. 2 when wide receiver LC Greenwood decided to head to Stillwater for college. In November, Snow College defensive tackle Fua Leilua joined the group which has helped spring momentum forward with Trey Sterling, Tyler Henderson, Arlington Hambright, Malcom Rodriguez, and now Macon coming on board. Macon committed on Sunday just before the recruiting dead period.
Rivals ranks the Cowboys’ 2017 class at No. 27 in the country with three four-star recruits and 15 three-star talents. 247Sports sees the class at No. 29 nationally, No. 2 in the Big 12.
