Arizona State Lands Under the Radar Texas SS Ashton Logan

Arizona State added their third verbal commitment to their 2017 recruiting class on Thursday securing Texas safety Ashton Logan.

Logan was part of Wildcats team that went 12-2 in 2015 making a deep run into the Texas 5A High School Playoffs. Temple High School used Logan at safety and outside linebacker giving the Sun Devils flexibility on using his skill set once on campus.

To date, ASU has been the only school to offer Logan. Logan made his announcement official on Twitter Thursday night posting, “Blessed to say I have verbally committed to Arizona state university [sic] #forks up.”

The Sun Devils have taken two of their three verbal commitments from the Lone Star State with athlete Jermani Brown coming from Virginia.
