Brandon Allen Nominated for Manning Award Quarterback of the Week

The Arkansas Razorbacks had a successful start to their 2015 season knocking off UTEP 48-13. With the lopsided win came a dominate performance in the pocket from senior quarterback Brandon Allen. For Allen’s efforts he was nominated as a potential The Manning Award Star of the Week.

Allen hit 14-of-18 passes for a career-high 308 yards with the majority of his work coming in the first half against the Miners. The Manning Award nominated Allen as one of the top players of the week and now it is up to the fans to vote on who they feel was the best of the best. Voting is done via Facebook (link below).

Arkansas returns to the field on Saturday when they host MAC West Division member Toledo. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. CT and will be covered on the SEC Alternate network.
