Cal Secures Commitment from In-State 2017 WR Jeremiah Hawkins

The Golden Bears picked up their third commitment for the 2017 class on Friday when Jeremiah Hawkins verbally committed to Cal.

Hawkins jumped firmly onto the recruiting scene during his junior season helping Buena Park High School to a 10-3 mark. Along the way Hawkins did a little bit of everything carrying the ball 21 times for 267 yards with three scores and caught 45 passes for 775 yards with five more touchdowns sporting an amazing 17.2 yard per reception average.

Recruiting attention really took off for the 5’9”, 170 pound, playmaker in the offseason with Arizona State, Colorado State, Boise State, Oregon State, Nevada, Hawaii, UNLV, Fresno State, Washington, Utah, Washington State, and Colorado all offering.
