The Trojans look along the offensive line for the future is starting to take shape in the 2017 recruiting class with two commitments in two days after three-star tackle Andrew Vorhees added himself to the Trojans haul.

Vorhees was a two-way star for Kingsburg High School during his junior season also getting time in at defensive tackle. The 6’6”, 290 pound, talent came up with 38 tackles in part-time work but has a future playing on the offensive line. Vorhees is a lineman’s lineman bringing a nastiness needed to help push back the opposition. Class of 2016 running back Seth Brooks was a big beneficiary of Vorhees’ talents running for 1,400 yards with 22 touchdowns in 2015.

Teams extending offers to Vorhees includes UCLA, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado State, Fresno State, Colorado, Oregon State, Boston College, San Diego State, Washington State, and Utah. Vorhees posted his announcement on Twitter with “I’m committed! #FightOn.”
