Tywon Mitchell wrapped up his senior season at Western High School in Anaheim by helping lead the Pioneers to an 8-3 record and a spot in the Division 9 quarterfinals in 2021. During his senior campaign, Mitchell caught 46 balls for 555 yards and six touchdowns at the tight end position.

This 6’3”, 235-pound, playmaker has the unique ability to line up anywhere on the offensive side of the ball and use his athleticism and versatility to make plays. Mitchell also has good hands, footwork, and strength.

The 2022 recruit already has multiple college offers and interests from both Division I and Division II schools so it’s just a matter of time until he chooses where he’ll play at the next level.

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I caught up with Tywon to talk about his senior season and get an update on his senior season.
