Game Highlights

Tight game until Cathedral separated from St. Francis in the fourth quarter. The two teams were tied 7-7 at the end of the first quarter before each squad scored in the third. The Phantoms were up 14-10 at the end of the third quarter before scoring 14 in the fourth for a 28-16 Angelus League clinching victory.

Phantoms sophomore quarterback Bryce Young completed 22-of-28 passes for 248 yards with two touchdowns and rushed 10 times for 42 yards.

Cathedral junior athlete Omari Garry rushed 15 times for 104 yards with one touchdown and caught three passes for 40 yards.

Freshman Josiah Zamora had a Phantoms team-high seven receptions for 72 yards.

Cathedral junior receiver Jabari Kindle had a team-high 74 yards off three receptions with a long of 57-yards and one touchdown.

Phantoms senior Halid Djibril had a team-high 10 tackles with one tackle for a loss and a quarterback hurry.

Linebacker Victor Terry picked off a St. Francis pass for Cathedral.
