When the Arkansas Razorbacks take the field again on Nov. 5 against Florida, the Hogs will be part of a CBS doubleheader highlighting the SEC.
The Hogs (5-3, 1-3) are on a bye this week after a 56-3 road loss to Auburn, but return to action in Fayetteville to take on No. 14 Florida (5-1, 3-1) in a cross-division SEC matchup the first weekend in November. CBS is airing an Arkansas game for the first time this season after Arkansas has appeared five times on ESPN nationally televised broadcasts.
The second part of the CBS doubleheader is a highly anticipated SEC showdown featuring No. 1 Alabama (8-0, 5-0) vs. No. 19 LSU (5-2, 3-1). CBS is picking up the Tide vs. Tigers game for a sixth consecutive season. Bama and LSU kickoff at 8:00 p.m. ET. Alabama has won five consecutive games in the series dating back to the BCS National Championship Game in Jan. 2012. The Tide leads the series 49-24-5.
Florida is coming off a bye this week to face Georgia in Jacksonville, another CBS broadcast airing at 3:30 p.m. ET. LSU and Alabama are both on a bye this week. The Gators own the all-time series against Arkansas with a 9-1 record winners of nine consecutive with the last game played in 2013 (30-10). Georgia owns the all-times series against Florida with a 5-42-2 mark.
