The recruiting steam behind 2024 Venice High School quarterback Jadyn Glasser continues to build. Over the offseason, the three-star transferred from South Plantation High School and added a high-profile spot as the starting quarterback for South Florida Express’ 7-on-7 team. Slinging it this spring in front of college coaches during the Indians’ practices has pushed Glasser (6-2, 215) to four offers with two official visit invites.
With the four offers, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, UMass, and Charleston Southern are among the interested parties.
Working the ball around the field with SFE, Glasser has visited UCF, Georgia, Louisville, Arizona State, South Florida, and Miami. Three days ago, the Chippewas offered Glasser, and offered him a paid for visit.
“Central Michigan wants me to go on an official visit there this summer,” Glasser shared. “So does Air Force but I think I will be at a tournament with SFE in Los Angeles; I won’t be able to make it to Air Force.”
Asked if he will make it up to Mount Pleasant to see CMU officially, Glasser responded, “It is a very high possibility.”
The three-star’s interest in Central Michigan was shared, “I like how they throw the ball – they throw the ball a lot. They definitely play the way I play.”
The rapport with the Chippewas quarterback coach is another draw that could seal the deal on the official.
“Coach (Jake) Kostner (QB) and I get a long really well,” Glasser said. “We joke around and stuff, but we always want to get work in. I’m really excited for it.”
The conflict with the potential Air Force visit is Overtime 7’s national championship being held in LA. Missing out on one visit may allow for an unofficial with another squad.
“We might be seeing USC with SFE,” Glasser stated.
Six or more teams could get time in with Glasser in a camp setting this summer.
“FAU, Duke, Charleston Southern, these are all maybes, FIU, Florida, and Florida State,” Glasser shared.
