David Beasley Commits to Louisiana Tech
Louisiana Tech continues to land top stars for their 2016 recruiting class. On Thursday afternoon, safety David Beasley from Pine Bluff, Arkansas announced on his Twitter account that he had verbally committed to Louisiana Tech.
Beasley attends Pine Bluff High School. The 6’2”, 180 pound, junior was named to the All-Southeast Arkansas first-team squad. The star safety finished his junior season with five interceptions, 52 tackles including 2.5 tackles for a loss, and one fumble recovery. He helped lead his team to its first 6A state championship and first overall title since 1995.
Rivals.com has rated Beasley as a three star recruit. Rivals has also ranked Beasley as the eighth best prospect in the 2016 recruiting class in the state of Arkansas.
Beasley committed to Louisiana Tech while having other offers from Houston and Arkansas State. Arkansas also had interest signing the star recruit.
Louisiana Tech wide receivers coach Tim Rattay played a big role in recruiting Beasley. The Bulldogs continue to land star recruits and the future is very bright on the campus of Louisiana Tech.
