After a weekend official visit to Missouri, prolific 2024 Arkansas receiver Courtney Crutchfield (6-2, 183) is ready to make his decision. A top schools list went out on Monday listing Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, and Missouri with a commitment coming Tuesday morning, Dec. 18.
The Razorbacks picked up Crutchfield’s commitment on April 21, officially visiting the Hogs on June 23. Deep into the 2023 regular season, the four-star Pine Bluff High School standout decommitted opening the door for Missouri and others.
The weekend in Columbia was covered.
“It went well,” Crutchfield said. “It was a nice atmosphere for sure. I went out with some of the players, some of the receivers, saw the dorms, and ate well. It was nice with good vibes.”
Five-star Class of 2022 receiver Luther Burden III was Crutchfield’s player-host.
“He was telling me they are true to what they say,” Crutchfield shared. “If they say they are going to do it, they do it. He also told me the mentors on campus will keep you from failing.”
The Tigers’ coaching staff has a big vision for what Crutchfield’s future could be like in their scheme.
“I was talking to all the coaches, we were vibing,” Crutchfield stated. “They were telling me how they want me to be part of the team and that they think I can be a freshman All-American, things of that nature.”
The feel and vibe in the college town was all positive for Crutchfield.
“I can say that when I was there, I still felt like I was at home in Arkansas,” Crutchfield shared. “The fans and love around the city.”
Asked where Missouri is in his recruiting process after the official, Crutchfield replied, “It is still a tie right now. I will go home tonight and talk to my parents. I will ask them how they feel about the situation.”
Fans will find out Crutchfield’s decision tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. CT.
