Further enforcing the oddity of the 2020 season, ESPN’s college football postseason bowl schedule has been released as the ACC, Big 12, and SEC hit the midway mark of their season before the Pac-12 plays Game 1. While many will focus solely on the College Football Playoff Committee’s four-team selection on Sunday, Dec. 20, the rest of the game’s diehards will eagerly await to see where their favorite teams will go bowling.
Opting Out
For those who feel there are too many bowl games, 2020 has done you a favor. Six bowl games will not be played this season with a seventh undecided. The Bahamas Bowl, the Redbox Bowl, the Fenway Bowl, the Hawaii Bowl, the Holiday Bowl and the Quick Lane Bowl have opted out of college football’s 2020 postseason festivities. The Las Vegas Bowl has yet to announce if they are in or out.
