A big part of the college football recruiting process is identifying the next round of elite talent. At Raines High School in Jacksonville (Fla.), next level scouts are already keying on corner/receiver Shareef Jackson.

Florida A&M has dropped an offer on the Class of 2026 prospect with ACC and Big 12 teams developing early bonds.

UCF loves me to death,” Jackson said. “Florida State, that is a school that has been on me, and North Carolina.”

There is already a family feel in Orlando with the Knights for Jackson.

“Coach (David) Gibbs (DB) and coach Addison (Williams – DC), they are like family,” Jackson shared. “They treat me like a son. The first time I went there, they treated me like their son.”

The early communication with the Seminoles has Jackson ready to make the trip to Tallahassee.

“They are sending me a lot of DMs and text messages,” Jackson stated. “I plan on going up there for a visit.”

Jackson continued sharing which schools he may visit in the coming weeks.

“I am planning on going back to UCF, FSU, and to Miami,” Jackson said. “I have to talk to my coaches; I am planning on visiting some out of state schools. The Florida schools, those are the ones I am visiting on my own.”

A January visit with the Hurricanes during the Battle Miami 7-on-7 tournament has Jackson ready to return.

“I went to Miami with my 7-on-7 team, 24K, back in January for Battle Miami,” Jackson shared. “I loved the environment, and I was getting mad love. They came to my school to see me, but I was in Las Vegas for a tournament.”

As part of his summer college camp tour, Jackson is looking at Florida State, Florida, UCF, and North Carolina.
