Tampa Catholic (Fla.) 2024 offensive lineman Eddy Pierre-Louis has it all. One of the nation’s best, Pierre-Louis has quick feet, is athletic, as strong as it gets, and plays with a chip on his shoulder. Holder of 55 offers, the four-star has two official visits set with two others in the works.
Pierre-Louis updated his recruiting process.
“I have set official visits with Oklahoma, June 9-11, and UCF, June 2-4,” Pierre-Louis said.
Asked if the official list may grow, Pierre-Louis replied, “Yes, Georgia and Texas A&M. I am trying to find a date, a date that is good for them.
For those teams hard at work trying to land the 6-4, 318-pound, lineman, paid for trips are optional during the season.
“I might take an unofficial to a school this summer, and OV during a game weekend,” Pierre-Louis shared.
Pierre-Louis broke down what he likes about the four teams currently in line for official stops.
Oklahoma: “My relationship with them, they’ve been wanting to get up there since my freshman year. I have been talking to coach (Bill) Bedenbaugh (OL). He has seen me practice; they really just want me to get up there.”
UCF: “I have always had a relationship with coach Gus (Malzahn) and everyone else at UCF. I like coach Herb Hand (OL). They recruited my older brother; they are like family.”
Georgia: “What I like about the Bulldogs, coach (Stacy) Searels (OL). He came to see me practice a couple of times; he wants me up there. We’ve been chopping it up since my sophomore year. We have a good connection already.”
Texas A&M: “I have a couple of boys there; they are telling me about A&M. I love coach (Steve) Addazio (OL); I like how he pushes his players to the limits. College Station is a great college town as well.”
When the paid for trips begin, Pierre-Louis was asked what he wants to experience or learn that will bring him to that one school.
“It will definitely be the culture, the place, and how it is,” Pierre-Louis shared. “Being there for three or four years, I want to enjoy it. The development is really important too. I want these coaches to get me where I want to be.”
