The state of Arkansas is filled with Class of 2016 Division-I talent and one of the many in the group is Fort Smith Southside linebacker Si Kilinc.
Kilinc is a prototypical player in many aspects including being a hustle player, quick to the ball, and sound in his assignments. The 6’1”, 195 pound, athlete is a little bit of a tweener, that is potentially being a collegiate outside linebacker or a safety at the next level. Either way, asking Kilinc to stick his facemask into the fray is not a problem. From the outside position a year ago he racked up 83 tackles, 68 of those were solo stops, six quarterback hurries, five sacks, 12 tackles for a loss, and two forced fumbles. Showing he can cover in space, he had six pass breakups to add to his impressive stat line.
Schools showing various levels of interest in Kilinc includes Army, Louisiana-Monroe, Southeast Missouri State, Furman, Pennsylvania, University of San Diego, Stanford, Central Arkansas, and in-state powers Arkansas and Arkansas State. No matter what, Kilinc will be playing at the next level with an offer on the table from Northeastern State University.
Kilinc has given what all college recruiters want to see, his early season highlight reel. The highlight reel is complete with sacks, tackles for loss, sideline-to-sideline plays, dropping in coverage, and playing technically sound football.
