Getting to Know You Interview with Cisco CB Antonio Kanonu
Written by Ryan Wright
Antonio Kanonu is a man on the move both on and off the field. When I first sat down to speak with Antonio he was getting geared up for the 2015 season at Arkansas Baptist Junior College. Within days of the initial interview he sent a message letting me know he was taking his cover skills to Cisco College in Texas.
When the 2015 season kicks off schools from near and far will be checking in on the 6’0”, 165 pound, speedster no matter where he laces up his shoes wanting to see his cover skills live. Offers from teams like Utah State, Western Kentucky, Troy, University of Texas San Antonio, UTEP, and Cincinnati have all been put on the table already. Before the season is completed schools like Clemson, Georgia, Kentucky, Memphis, Tulane, Mississippi State, TCU, Florida, Arkansas, Arizona State, and Arkansas State could all extend offers as well after showing early interest.
I quizzed Antonio on all things football previously but wanted to get to know the man on the recruiting rise better putting him through our Recruiting News Guru ongoing “getting to know you” Q&A.
