Globe Tech is reaching heights on the gridiron the junior college has never achieved during the 2015 season. The program is off to a 6-1 record after beating Navy 42-0 last week gaining respect as one of the best JUCO teams in the region. The push forward to success along the offensive line is helped in large part by Maso Dodd.
Dodd is a 6’3”, 310 pound, powerhouse pushing linemen out of the way, mirroring back to keep the pocket secure, and quick enough to get to the second level springing his running backs for big gains down field.
As if Manhattan is not a big enough draw alone, Dodd is giving college recruiters another reason to head to New York. Dodd has picked up interest from Syracuse, Cincinnati, Houston, Bethune Cookman, West Virginia, Akron, Louisville, Illinois, and Arizona. The offers have been on hold after a knee injury sideline him in 2014. Proving to all of those that had doubts, Dodd is back, completely healthy, and stronger than ever. Dodd, a 4.0 student, also excels in the weight room with a reported bench press max of 425 and a squat max of 545.
Dodd displays his power, quickness, and strength in his mid-season highlight reel. (Click the link to watch Maso’s reel via Hudl.com)
