If you watch Class of 2020 cornerback Amir Alamin’s game film from his junior season, one would not know that was his first season guarding receivers and stuffing the run. The 5-11 160-pound, athlete made the move from receiver, and made it look easy coming up with 38 tackles, 25 solo, a tackle for a loss, broke up three passes, and picked off two. The instincts are there along with the athleticism. The offseason is all about Alamin putting it all together through practices with his Temecula High School squad and on the 7v7 scene with E.A.T. (Explosive Athletic Training) for what should be a big senior season.

In an RNG exclusive, I sat down with one of California’s rising corners flying under the radar to learn more about his game and offseason goals.

Interview

“Yes. We visited UC-Davis.”
