Interview
Terrell, getting those varsity snaps in as a freshman during the 2020 season, what was that experience like for you?
It was very competitive and it was a lot faster than eighth grade and youth football. It took getting used to but I adapted fast. My freshman season was fun.
The great equalizer on the field is speed, and you got it. Beyond being fast, what were some of the other strengths to your game as a receiver during your freshman run?
Being explosive, my fast breaks, and my very good blocking abilities. When the quarterback or running back does run, I block for them; they get good blocks from me. And my football IQ is up there.
Which routes were you running?
We ran a lot of screens and five-yard outs. They were getting me the ball in space to work and get yardage.
This offseason you made the move to Inglewood, which roles will you take on this fall with the new team?
Being a playmaker – the fast-shifty guy getting downfield. I’m lining up at punt and kick returner and inside and outside receiver. I’ll be that guy taking a five-yard out to the crib.
What style of offense are you guys running?
We run a Spread offense. We will pass a lot.
With your offseason workouts, what have you focused on to improve upon as a receiver?
My speed, my ability to get open, and getting off the line.
What have you been doing to add more speed to your skills?
Running steep hills multiple times going full speed, and getting new time records on those hills. I’ve been doing sand workouts, running with a parachute, resistant bands, and all that stuff.
Have you had a chance to post a 40 this offseason?
Yes, my first 40 was a 4.5 and my second one was a 4.49.
Wow. Where did you post those times?
At my workout facility with my trainer.
Did you play any other varsity sports during the 2020-21 school year?
Last year I didn’t, but this year I will play basketball and I might run track.
Let’s talk about your camp season. Which camps have you competed at so far?
I went to the Underclassman Under Armour camp, and some camps at Rivals, Arizona State, Arizona Wildcats, and one at USC.
How did the Arizona camp go?
I did well. But it was more about the upperclassmen.
What drills did they put you through?
We did the 40, box drill, L-drill, one on ones, and the vert test.
And the ASU camp, how did that go?
It was really good. It was basically the same stuff. We did 7v7, and I was balling. They saw me balling and gave me an offer.
Very cool. Are there any upcoming camps on your schedule?
A Florida State camp is possible, but that’ll be kind of hard to do.
That you know of, which schools are showing interest in you ahead of the 2021 season?
Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, USC, and UCLA.
How many offers have you pulled down so far?
Six.
Bradshaw’s Offer Sheet: Arizona State, Florida International, Florida State, Hawaii, Maryland, and Washington State
Which program was the first to offer you?
Washington State offered me over the phone.
Receiving an offer from a Power Five program like Washington State, what was that moment like for you?
Man, it was truly a blessing. I finally got to realize all the hard work, all the balling, had paid off. There were a lot of sleepless nights. To be real, I was crying when I got the offer. I was so happy I didn’t know what to do.
Which schools have you visited so far?
USC, ASU, Hawaii, Maryland, and Arizona.
What did you get to see and do during your visit at USC?
I saw everything. I went on a golf cart tour around the school. We went into their offensive coordinator’s office; they have a TV in the office where they play Madden. It was cool over there. I saw their facilities, went into the locker room, and their auditorium. It was a fun visit.
Are there any visits coming up for you?
There are a lot I am supposed to go on, but I don’t know the details. We are supposed to do a 15-school tour, but I am not sure which ones we are going to. My coach from Inglewood and Premium is setting all of that up.
When is the 15-school tour supposed to happen?
This summer.
Another great chance to meet more coaches.
Yes, sir.
Terrell, it was great getting the update on your camps and recruiting today. Wishing you the best with your preparations for the upcoming season.
Yes, sir. Thank you.
