LSU’s 2021 recruiting class took another big step forward towards contending for a Top 5 national recruiting class on Wednesday when landing four-star talent Saivion Jones. Jones was a two-way player for St. James High School during his junior campaign shinning bright at defensive end with part-time duties at tight end. After a 90-tackle, 29-tackle for a loss, 13-sack season, the rush was on among college programs trying to land the 6-5, 250-pound, defender with 23 reported offers extended. The Tigers were able to keep their in-state target home pushing their ranking to sixth in the nation with 12 total commitments including nine four-stars.
In an RNG exclusive, Jones details his commitment to LSU and how the Tigers’ staff won him over.
