Ckelby Givens has been a force on the Captain Shreve defensive line over the last couple of seasons. During a monstrous junior season, Givens racked up 44 total tackles including 17 for a loss and four sacks. When the 2020 season was completed, Givens was named First-Team All-City and First Team All-District and is looking to achieve even more honors in 2021.

On Sept. 3, Ckelby got off to a hot start leading to more postseason honors helping lead the Gators to a 30-9 win over North DeSoto in the first game of his senior season. In the win, this senior monster racked up five tackles, five quarterback hurries, and one sack.

This 6’2”, 240-pound, beast has tremendous strength, quickness, and pass-rushing ability while also playing a great mindset and physicality.

This Class of 2022 currently has six offers and is also drawing interest from Louisiana Tech and Louisiana.

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I caught up with Ckelby to talk about his career at Captain Shreve and get an update on his recruiting process.
