Interview with Louisiana North DeSoto High School CB Caleb Brown
Written by Charlie Beuttel
North DeSoto High School located in Stonewall is not known to many outside of northwest Louisiana. However the Griffins have won 25 games in the past three years and made the 4A playoffs every year in that span.
In 2014, North DeSoto had a 9-3 record and made it to the second round of the playoffs. One big reason that the Griffins had such a successful season is that their defense only gave up 12.3 points a game. There are many star players on the Griffin’s defense including cornerback Caleb Brown. The 6’1″, 185 pound, recruit who loves to hit opponents accumulated 47 tackles and grabbed four interceptions last year.
In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, we sat down with Caleb to talk about his high school career and his recruiting process.

Did you receive any other individual honors?
“Second-Team all-District.”
What are your strengths on the field?

“Trying to stronger and faster, also I’m working on my press coverage.”
Looking ahead to the 2015 season what game are you most looking forward to on your team’s schedule?
