St. Thomas Aquinas, located outside of Kansas City (KS), had an average season as the Saints finished 10-10 and lost a heart-breaker in the first round of the playoffs to St. James. Not only was their season like a roller coaster but they scored and gave up on average the same amount of points (52) per game.

This upcoming season, St. Thomas Aquinas may have all the right pieces coming back to improve and make a run into the playoffs including senior small forward Angelo Allegri.

Allegri averaged 13 points and five rebounds per game in his junior year. After the season, he was named second-team All-Conference.

The 6’6”, 212 pound, play maker uses his athletic ability to do a good job getting to the basket and finishing around the rim. Another strength of his game is his mid-range pull up jump-shot.

The class of 2017 recruit already has five college offers and is receiving interest from several other Division-I schools including the University of Missouri.

Allegri also works hard in the classroom where he has a 2.4 GPA and received a 24 last time he took the ACT test.

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I sat down with Angelo to talk about his career at St. Thomas Aquinas and his recruiting process.
