Sophomore running back Dylan Edwards was a key part of Derby’s success in 2020 as he finished with 1,833 total yards and 28 touchdowns helping lead the Panthers to the Kansas 6A state title. After his historic season, the young running back was named first team All-State.
This 5’8″, 170-pound, weapon has blazing speed and athleticism to break through tackles and blow away his competition. Edwards also has good field vision and footwork. The Class of 2023 recruit already has four college offers, including Kansas State and Iowa State, and is currently receiving interest from Pac-12 schools like Arizona State and Oregon.
Not only does Edwards shine on the gridiron but also on the baseball field and in the classroom where he holds a 3.5 GPA.
In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I caught up with Dylan to talk about his sophomore season and get an update on his recruiting process.
