Huntington used an offensive explosion to finish 9-3 in 2021 as the Raiders averaged a whopping 39.8 points per game. One of the weapons for this season was rising junior wide receiver Damarion Carter.
Carter finished the 2021 season with 47 receptions for 666 yards and 11 touchdowns. The 11 touchdowns tied for the team lead and his catch total and receiving yards were second-best on the team.
This 5’8”, 175-pound, speedster is a threat on all kinds of plays for the Raiders as he was used on jet sweeps, quick screens, and deep ball. Carter has great athleticism, speed, and field vision.
The 2023 recruit is currently receiving interest from notable college programs including Mississippi State. It’s only a matter of time before he hauls in his first college offer.
In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I caught up with Damarion to talk about his junior season and get an update on his recruiting process.
