Shreveport’s Green Oaks High School is a melting pot full of future college football recruits. In 2019, the Giants reached the second round of the state playoffs, and with the talent returning are expected to make a deeper run in 2020 led by a key group of juniors and seniors. One rising star ready to lead his team into the playoffs with college football aspirations is junior offensive lineman Christopher Robinson.
This 6-3, 278-pound, behemoth, does a great job of blocking opponents to create holes for his teammates. Robinson also possesses tremendous footwork and strength as he battles in the trenches. The Class of 2022 prospect is currently receiving interest from several in-state programs and his stock will only rise with two seasons at the high school level.
Robinson currently holds a 2.9 GPA in the classroom, and also works hard in the weight room and on the field during this extended offseason. He has a dream of making it to the next level and knows the only way he’ll get there is if he works hard every day.
In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I caught up with the young offensive lineman to discuss his career at Green Oaks and his recruiting process.
