The Northwood Falcons have a force on their defensive line in junior defensive end Ta’Derius Collins. The 6’4”, 245-pound, machine racked up 30 tackles, four sacks, an interception and one forced fumble as a sophomore in 2020 but has goals to have an even bigger impact in 2021.
Collins has the ability to make plays against the run and pass while playing with tremendous intensity, physicality and strength. The Class of 2023 prospect attended an LSU camp this summer and is ready for his recruiting process to explode after receiving camp invites from TCU, Baylor, and Oklahoma State according to his head coach Austin Brown in an interview with The Shreveport Times.
In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I caught up with Ta’Derius to talk about his sophomore campaign and get an update on his preparations for his junior season.
