The Lions of Plain Dealing High School are currently 4-4 on the season with two games remaining in 2019. Plain Dealing, led by senior quarterback Ken Gay, has plans to win both and go on a deep playoff run.

Gay has led the Lions to be in this great position by throwing for 1,400 yards with 17 touchdowns and by running for five more scores in just seven games. This dual-threat has a great arm to launch the ball downfield and great speed and agility to make plays on the ground. The Class of 2020 prospect currently has two college offers and is also receiving interest from other colleges.

The senior leader not only sets a good example on the football field but also in the classroom where he has a 3.68 GPA. The 6’2”, 200-pound, playmaker is looking to become the next college quarterback to come out of northwest Louisiana to make their mark at the collegiate level.

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I sat down with Ken to discuss his recruiting process and senior season at Plain Dealing.
