Brian Stewart Jr. had a stellar junior season at Woodlawn High School in Shreveport in 2019. The speedy playmaker was featured in all three phases of the ball while putting up impressive numbers wherever he lined up including wide receiver and defensive back. The 5’8”, 170-pound, athlete snagged 32 passes for 459 yards and five touchdowns, rushed for 142 yards on 32 carries, threw for 147 yards and a touchdown, then had one interception which he ran back for a touchdown while also returning two kickoffs for touchdowns.

The class of 2021 recruit currently has three college offers including Louisiana College and Valparaiso University and is also drawing interest from several other programs at the next level. Not only is Stewart a hard worker on the gridiron but also in the classroom where he has a 4.1 GPA and on the basketball team where he plays point guard.

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I caught up with the Woodlawn playmaker to talk about his junior season and get an update on his recruiting process.
