North Desoto High School, located in Stonewall just south of Shreveport, had a great season in 2015 as the Griffins finished 10-3 and made it all the way to the quarterfinals of the state championship. Unfortunately the Griffins suffered a heartbreaking loss to eventual state champion, Neville, 42-14.
In 2015, North DeSoto’s explosive offense scored a whopping 35 points per game and in 2016 the offense should have another great year as one of their most explosive playmakers running back Delmonte Hall returns for his senior season.
During his junior campaign, Hall rushed for an incredible 2,164 yards and 39 touchdowns. After the season, the 6’0”, 210 pound playmaker received numerous awards including All-Area Offensive MVP.
The Class of 2017 running back currently holds one college offer from Northwestern State but he is also receiving interest from several other schools including Louisiana-Lafayette and Louisiana Tech.
Hall has already set a personal goal for 2016 as he is preparing to rush for over 2,200 yards by working out and conditioning twice a day.
Hall also works hard in the classroom as he has a 3.5 GPA and has plans of studying engineering in college.
In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I sat down with Delmonte to discuss his high school career at North DeSoto and his recruiting process.
