LSU Adds Massive West Virginia OT Seth Stewart to 2017 Class

LSU added their 16th verbal commitment to the 2017 class on Saturday landing offensive tackle Seth Stewart.
Stewart made a name for himself with Point Pleasant High School helping the Knights to a 10-1 record in 2014 and a 12-1 mark last season in West Virginia’s Class AAA. Marshall jumped on the big 6’8”, 320 pound, tackle landing his commitment in June of 2015. During the spring evaluation period, Stewart’s recruiting stock started to soar with teams like Arkansas, Pitt, Louisville, West Virginia, and LSU offering.
The Tigers’ fan base found out about Stewart’s commitment via Twitter with the big man posting, “Honored and blessed to say that I am going to continue my education at Louisiana state university [sic].”
LSU has been steady on the recruiting trail building the class a couple of commitments at a time. The Tigers class is offense heavy with up to 13 players who could play on that side of the ball. Recruiting rankings on the class varies from a No. 5 ranking by 247Sports to a No. 7 class by Rivals.
