Mississippi State gets Michigan Bounce Back DB Brian Cole

Mississippi State added a fourth member to the secondary in the 2017 class securing East Mississippi C.C. safety Brian Cole on Tuesday.

Cole (6-2, 200) was an All-State performer in high school out of Saginaw, Michigan. Out of high school he signed with the Wolverines playing one year for Michigan. Cole found his way to East C.C. committing to the Kentucky Wildcats in February. His recruitment picked up towards the end of the 2016 season with Oregon State, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State offering. The Bulldogs hosted Cole on Nov. 18.

During the 2016 season, Cole was credited with 54 total tackles, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and a sack.
