Bo Sprague is going to be the next collegiate prospect to come out of Kansas City’s Rockhurst High School. This historic program has won nine state championships and routinely sends out collegiate recruits every season. The Hawklets finished 7-4 a season ago and reached the second round of the Missouri 6A playoffs before falling to Liberty North (17-14). Sprague and the rest of his teammates returning in 2020 have goals of making a deeper run in the postseason and bringing a 10th state championship home to Kansas City.
The 6’5”, 240-pound, tight end has tremendous blocking ability in both the passing and rushing game. He also has good hands, size and strength to snag passes no matter how many defenders are around him. Sprague is definitely a force to be reckoned with as both a blocker and pass catcher.
This class of 2021 prospect’s recruiting process has taken off like a rocket as he currently holds 18 offers including from some Ivy League Schools and is also drawing interest from Stanford, Kansas State and Rice. Not only does Sprague star on the football team but he also plays forward on the basketball team and holds a 3.6 GPA in the classroom.
In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru, I caught up with Bo to discuss his junior season at Rockhurst and get an update on his recruiting process.
