It’s championship week in Missouri as two undefeated teams, Blue Springs South (13-0) and Christian Brothers College (13-0), have advanced through this tough bracket and are set to face off Friday Nov. 27th in St. Louis for the 6A state championship.

Both teams won in blowout fashion in the semifinals last week as Blue Springs South destroyed Kirkwood 41-17 and Christian Brothers College routed Kickapoo 35-14.

Christian Brothers College are the defending champions in 6A so they will know what it is like to play in front of a large crowd in the Edwards Jones Dome in St. Louis. Blue Springs South, with their 13 victories, are having one of the best seasons in school history as the Jaguars only had 11 wins combined in the last two seasons.

The Jaguars have to take the long trip from the Kansas City area east on I-70 to the other side of the state for this championship game while Christian Brothers College is in St. Louis so it will be easier for their fans to attend the game.
