Staley Falcons @ Liberty North Eagles
This will be one of the best games of the weekend featuring two top teams with Staley coming in 3-0 and Liberty North 2-1.
The big reason that the Falcons are undefeated is that they have outscored their opponents 110-24 in their first three games. The leaders of this high-scoring offense are quarterback Michael Kilpatrick who has thrown for 416 yards and completed over 70 percent of his passes and running back Faizol Bouchard who has 388 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
Two leaders of the Liberty North Eagles are senior wide receiver Jack Degarmo who has 172 yards and senior linebacker Dante Edwards who has 27 tackles in 2015.
Kearney Bulldogs @ Raytown South Cardinals
Kearney (2-1) suffered their first loss of the season last week to Liberty North, 21-10, and want to get back on the winning track. Raytown South (1-2) beat Park Hill South 28-14 last week for their first win of 2015.
Two Kearney leaders who are expected to have big games this week include linebacker Cale Garrett who has 26 tackles including five tackles for a loss so far in his senior season and quarterback Logan Hinck who has throw for 452 yards and six touchdowns.
Raytown South is led by running back Omar Harrison and quarterback Jabril Cox.
Grandview Bulldogs @ Belton Pirates
Grandview suffered their first loss this past Friday to Grain Valley (35-22) to drop them to 2-1 on the young season.
The leaders of the Bulldogs who are expected to have big games this Friday are senior quarterback Reginald Collier and senior running back Ja’kori Bell. Collier has thrown for 342 yards and seven touchdowns, while Bell has 497 rushing yards in Grandview’s first three games.
Belton suffered a 45-7 loss to Park Hill last week to drop them to 1-2 in 2015 but they are working hard to get back on the winning track. Two key Belton players that will try to help the Pirates win this game will be senior athlete Justus Shaw and senior running back Zach Willis.
