The Sooners added their second tight end commitment to the 2017 class on Sunday when Jeremiah Hall pledged to Oklahoma.

Hall was part of Vance High School’s 11-4 team in 2014 and took on a bigger role within the Cougars’ offense in 2015. Hall served as a tight end and fullback earning Mecka 4A All-Conference honors securing 38 passes for 650 yards with six scores and added 280 yards on the ground off 43 carries with another five touchdowns on the stat sheet.

Oklahoma was a late offer, coming in on May 10, but quickly made up ground leading to his June 12 verbal commitment. Sixteen teams in total have extended scholarships to the 6’3”, 220 pound, North Carolina product with Oklahoma beating out Pitt, Syracuse, Princeton, Colorado State, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Colorado State, Navy, Air Force, Buffalo, N.C. State, and Maryland, among others.

Hall posted his Oklahoma commitment statement on Twitter:
