Notre Dame adds 4-Star Oregon WR/CB Braden Lenzy to 2018 Class

Notre Dame has shot out of the gate with their 2018 recruiting class pulling in top recruits left and right. The race to a full class is nearly halfway completed adding their eleventh commit thus far with Oregon athlete Braden Lenzy on Wednesday.
Lenzy is yet another highly prized player the Fighting Irish has secured a commitment from picking up the 6-0, 175 pound, talent from Tigard High School. The Tigers were one of the top teams in Oregon during the 2016 season going 10-4 on the year. Tigard used Lenzy at corner, wide receiver, and as a kick returner last season. During the Under Armour All-American camp in California over the weekend, Lenzy participated as a receiver.
College coaches love Lenzy’s elite speed and play making abilities. Double-digit offers have come in from schools like USC, Colorado, Purdue, Michigan State, Cal, Oregon State, Stanford, and UCLA. The weekend visit was completed with an unofficial visit to USC on Monday. Notre Dame fans found out about Lenzy’s commitment late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, depending on the time zone, with a post on Twitter reading, “God, Country, Notre Dame!” The post was accompanied with a statement:
