Notre Dame had a highly successful recruiting weekend, despite various recruiting rankings, securing five total Class of 2017 commitments including 4-star linebackers Pete Werner and David Adams.

The Fighting Irish racked up on the defensive side of the ball. In addition to Pete Werner and David Adams, Notre Dame also landed St. Thomas Aquinas linebacker Drew White and Central Catholic defensive tackle Kurt Hinish, a teammate of Adams.
