Somehow, there are teams that are still late to the party in the recruiting process of Jamie Tremble. The 2024 prospect had a monster junior season hauling in 55 passes for 890 yards with 11 touchdowns while also contributing on the other side of the ball for Wesleyan School. The big season has made a four-star out of Tremble with 13 offers on the table.
Taking on 3A Georgia defenses, Tremble explained his role in the Wolves’ offense.
“I’m a tight end that flexes out as a receiver,” Tremble said. “I’m in a versatile role, and I’m a mismatch for linebackers. I am just as fast as the receivers; I can go anywhere.”
Some teams are wondering about Tremble’s size, currently 6-4, 200 pounds. For that, he points to his older brother as a prime example.
“My brother (Tommy Tremble) plays for the Panthers,” Tremble stated. “He was 210 going into college, he was 250 at the end of college (Notre Dame). I will morph into it like him.”
Norcross has been a hot spot this spring for college coaches.
“There have been quite a few schools that have come by,” Tremble shared. “Mississippi State, NC State came on Tuesday, UNC, Minnesota, Duke, Arkansas State, Troy, Georgia Tech came on Wednesday; that’s all I can think of right now. One of Miami’s coaches called on Sunday, he is coming next week, and so is Texas A&M.”
Tremble shared the teams building the bond with him this spring, “I’d say probably Syracuse, they recently offered, they’ve been contacting me a lot, Miami texted all last week, Duke, and Georgia Tech. UNC as well. They said they are really interested in my film; we’ll see what happens this summer. Wake Forest, they are really interested in me.”
After taking ACC visits this spring to Wake Forest, Duke, and Georgia Tech, another Atlantic Coast Conference team and an SEC squad could dictate where he goes this summer.
“Depending on what happens with Miami and Texas A&M, that may alter where I go to visit this summer,” Tremble said.
The opportunity to work directly with position coaches to get a feel and vibe could happen this summer.
“I may go to Mississippi State, I just talked to their coach,” Tremble shared. “He offered me and really wants me there. I might go to UNC and to Georgia as well.”
Setting official visits will begin once spring ball is over.
“I have none set right now, but in about two weeks I will set a couple of the summer or fall,” Tremble stated.
Showing off the overall athleticism, Tremble just broke his school record in the triple jump posting a 45’, 45”.
