The Raiders of Reynoldsburg reached the second round of the Ohio Division I playoffs finishing 4-4 overall in the 2020 season behind the play of star Class of 2022 quarterback Dijon Jennings. The junior playmaker threw for 1,394 yards and 18 touchdowns while adding 220 yards and two more scores on the ground. After the season, Jennings was named first team All-District and first team All-Conference.
The 6’0″, 185-pound, quarterback plays with a very high football IQ while unleashing his great athleticism, footwork, and strong-arm on his opponents. Two college offers including Kentucky and Eastern Michigan while also drawing interest from several big-time programs including Cincinnati.
Not only is Jennings a star on the gridiron but also in the classroom where he currently holds a 3.5 GPA.
In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I caught up with Dijon to talk about his junior season and get an update on his recruiting process.
