Oklahoma CB Kyle Mayberry sets announcement date with Top 10

On Tuesday quick-on-quick Booker T. Washington cornerback Kyle Mayberry released his Top 10 list and his commitment date via Twitter.

The 5’10.5”, 165 pound, athlete did a little bit of everything during his junior season coming up with 15 tackles, 120 rushing yards with a score on 11 carries, and caught 17 passes for 175 yards with another three touchdowns. College coaches throughout the region took note. As reported, the Tulsa native now has 18 scholarship offers.

On Saturday July 4th at 9:05 a.m. (CT) one of 10 teams will be the lucky winner in the recruiting race to land Mayberry. Mayberry’s Top 10 includes Arkansas State, Houston, Illinois, Kansas, Kansas State, Nevada, Sam Houston, Utah State, Washington State, and Wyoming, listed in alphabetical order.

Mayberry has the rare gift of next level speed. During the Oklahoma 2015 Outdoor Track Season he posted a best of 10.67 in the 100 meters on May 16. On April 10, during the Ram Relays, he was clocked at a 22.17 in the 200 meters and recorded a best of 20’ 2.00 in the long jump on April 17.
