For some players, the statistics tell the story. With Brayden Tyson, the numbers may not truly incapsulate all that he can do on the field, but perhaps the 32 offers accepted help paint the picture.

Tyson’s (6-0, 225) sophomore season in the Peach State captured attention across the country. All-State, All-Region, and All-Region Player of the Year honors were bestowed to the 2027 talent after rushing for 2,123 yards with 26 trips into the end zone and 326 receiving yards with three more scores posted.

The Brookwood (Snellville) offense that starred Tyson was discussed.

“We are run heavy, pro style,” Tyson stated. “My strengths are my balance and my overall strength.”

In a season full of highlights, one game stood out to the four-star.

“The Parkview game; I broke the school’s rushing record,” Tyson mentioned. “I had 19 carries for 362 yards and four touchdowns.”

Speed and quickness are the focus for Tyson this offseason.

“I am working on being twitchier, improving my short bursts, and quick movements,” Tyson stated.

On the way to 32 offers, college coaches let Tyson know why he was receiving the scholarship opportunity.

“They like how I catch the ball, my speed, and my power,” Tyson shared. “They really like how fast I am; they don’t expect it.”

The fall months took Tyson to UCF, Tennessee, and Ole Miss off game invites.

Asked what stands out to him when watching a recruiting program play, Tyson replied, “The rotation between players, and how they use certain players for certain things.”

ACC and SEC programs are making a stop in Snellville.

“Arkansas, Stanford, and Georgia Tech have come by my school,” Tyson said.

Upcoming visits haven’t been set yet, but Tyson has a few he’d like to visit if all works out, “FSU, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee.”

Among the teams wanting Tyson’s signed National Letter of Intent include Michigan, Ohio State, Georgia, Oregon, Tennessee, TCU, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Florida State, and Arkansas.
