Q&A: Get to know IMG Academy safety Robbie Adams

Class of 2017 IMG Academy safety Robbie Adams just wrapped a sophomore season splitting time between the junior varsity and varsity squad. With early attention from teams like Rutgers, Army, and Navy, national attention is sure to grow while playing for one of the more talented teams in the nation.

Adams sat down for a full length interview going over his first two seasons in Bradenton, Florida but then took time to answer some “getting to know you questions.” Unlike most teenagers that eat up pop culture, Adams is truly dedicated to academic working and better preparing himself for the 2015 season. In other words, Robbie might not be the typical teenager preferring Frank Sinatra over more current Top 20 standards.

What’s your favorite movie: I don’t know (long pause). The Avengers? I like sports movies, thrillers, and action movies but I don’t watch many movies because I don’t have much free time.

Who is your favorite actor: Liam Neeson

What is your favorite TV show: Sons of Anarchy, I like that show a lot.

What is your favorite type of music: Not big on music, I’ll listen to whatever, pop or some rap music.

Favorite musician: Frank Sinatra

What hobbies do you have: I spend a lot of time with my family and friends.

Favorite type of food: Steak, Rib-eye bone-in.

Favorite game system: I have a PS4 (PlayStation 4), got it for Christmas. I only have Madden though. Sometimes on the weekend I’ll play with some friends.
