Athletes at all levels are put through every kind of test in a continuing effort to prove their talents and abilities. Different coaches have different measuring sticks to gauge an athlete, especially when it comes to how a high school football player projects at the next level by a college coach. One rising talent that has passed perhaps the most important test so far, the eyeball test, is Beaux Collins. Collins is arguably the fastest rising Class of 2021 recruit in the nation.
For the diehards seeking a heap of tape on Collins, you will have to wait. The Los Angeles are prospect spent his freshman season playing against his peer group getting a late season call-up to the varsity level with Notre Dame High School (Sherman Oaks). After lining up at receiver and safety in 2017, an offseason move to St. John Bosco (Bellflower) now has Collins focused in at receiver… and the result is speaking volumes.
St. John Bosco is routinely one of the top high school football programs in the nation, further cementing their place among the best in the country after a MaxPreps’ end of season No. 3 national ranking. If a player is making it work on the Braves practice field, safe to bet that when the lights go on for a Friday game, the toughest competition for said players was a week of practice in preparation. That same mindset has trickled into the college recruiting ranks. Collins has showed up big this spring during Braves’ practices leading to seven Division-I scholarship offers; Arkansas, Ole Miss, Nevada, Arizona State, Washington State, Oregon, and Nebraska.
In a Recruiting News Guru exclusive interview, I caught up with the 6-3, 185-pound, standout after his latest two offers from Ole Miss and Arkansas to learn more about his recruiting process and offseason workouts.

As a parent, it’s exciting to see my son “Beaux Collins” growing in a program such as St. John Bosco both athletically and academically. The offers my son received can be contributed to the Bosco football platform, giving all their players the exposure to college recruiters. The Bosco coaching staff and family is second to none! “BRAVE NATION” – NATIONAL TITLE!!!!!!
