The playing career for Arkansas Razorback senior running back Jonathan Williams is likely over after sustaining a foot injury during fall camp. The All-SEC tailback has received a ton of support from Razorback Nation but got some unlikely backing from SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey.
The injury to Williams’ foot was serious enough that surgery was required. The 1,100-yard rusher in 2014 is out four to five months leaving a very small window of opportunity to play at the end of the season or in a potential bowl game if all goes well for the Hogs on the field in 2015.
Sankey reached out to the talented back sending a handwritten note reading, “Jonathan – Thought I’d send a note after I learned of your foot injury. I hope the recovery has already started and wish you all the best and a speedy return to full speed. I enjoyed our visit at SEC Media Days and hope to see you when I’m in Fayetteville for Texas Tech! – Greg”
Williams posted the note on Twitter writing, “My commissioner > yours. Thank you @GregSankey.”
Speculation is Williams, who was rated as a third round NFL draft prospect at the end of his junior season, will not seek a NCAA approved medical redshirt season to regain eligibility for his senior season in 2016 but will focus his attention on turning pro once the season is completed.
I have read article about it at ” tramadolbest.com” that it’s a narcotic drug that causes addiction, but in our cases it wasn’t so scary…we knew that Tramadol was usually prescribed shortly before the death of the oncological patients.
