Stanford Adds another 4-Star Talent to 2016 Class with WR Simi Fehoko

The old commercial tag line runs something like “never let them see you sweat.” Regardless of how great other Pac-12 recruiting class are shaping up Standford’s 2016 haul to date has to be making opposing conference coaches sweat. On Sunday the Cardinal added yet another 4-star recruit landing a commitment from wide receiver Simi Fehoko.
Fehoko helped Brighton High School to a 10-2 record in 2014 making a three-game run into the Utah state playoffs. Fehoko was a beast on the field in the passing game coming up with 65 receptions for 1,644 yards with 24 touchdowns. The Bengals No. 2 receiver, Cody Barton, had 27 receptions for 334 yards. If the Bengals put it in the air everyone knew Fehoko was getting the ball.
No surprise seeing coaches from all over the nation running to Salt Lake City in hopes of setting up a relationship with the 6’3”, 195 pound, wide out. Teams like Washington, Clemson, Colorado, Arizona State, Oregon State, Nebraska, Michigan and in-state powers Utah, Utah State, and BYU all offered.
Of the 12 verbal commitments Stanford has landed, seven are 4-star recruits. When the 2015 high school football season is completed tight end Kaden Smith (Flower Mound, TX) and quarterback KJ Costello (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) could see their status rise to a 5-star level, if not already deserving.
