Horned Frogs fans can breathe a little easier of late with all the great recruiting success TCU has had. Since late May, TCU has added seven of their eight commits pulling three-star defensive end Dennis Collins out of Louisiana on Monday.
Collins has been a true end in West Monroe’s 3-4 defense over the past two seasons. The Rebels have been one of the more consistent teams in Louisiana 5A classification going 11-3 and 11-1 in back-to-back seasons. Collins is big, listed at 6’3”, 265 pounds, and quick running down plays from sideline to sideline.
TCU got a big win pulling Collins out of SEC territory. The Horned Frogs beat out Arkansas, Tennessee, and Ole Miss for Collins commitment. Collins’ announcement to TCU was simple, “It’s Official! #TooColdU” followed by a quick statement:
TCU’s staff has been on absolute fire of late pulling in four recruits since June 8. Trestan Ebner and Lakendrick Van Zandt both committed last Wednesday followed by Josh Thompson on Sunday (June 12), and Collins on June 13.
