The loss of two starting quarterbacks at the end of the 2015 season has put an early emphasis on restocking the proverbial shelf at Texas A&M. The Aggies already had 4-star Bishop Gorman quarterback Tate Martell committed and added Roshauud Paul on Saturday.

Paul landed squarely on the recruiting map as a sophomore passing for 1,545 yards with 18 touchdowns against just three picks while rushing for 1,670 yards with 21 more scores. The 6’0”, 170 pound, talent took his game to the next level during his junior campaign passing for 2,412 yards with 29 touchdowns against four picks and rushed for 2,193 yards with 40 touchdowns.

Interest in the Bremond High School star was really picking up before Paul verbally committed with 11 schools in all offering. The list includes TCU, SMU, Oklahoma, Oregon State, Houston, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Tulsa, Baylor, and Arizona State. Paul visited College Station in late January picking up an offer from the Aggies on Feb. 26.

The commitment became public when Paul posted his decision on Twitter writing, “Truly blessed and excited to announce that I am Officially committing….. To THE TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY #GigEmGang17.”
